The 47th Ashwamedha Mahayagna: An extraordinary event in Navi Mumbai

The Ashwamedha Mahayagna is a significant and grand event that symbolizes Indian culture and religious rituals. In the organization of this Mahayagna, people from various backgrounds come together and strive for the religious and social upliftment of the entire society. During the organization of the Ashwamedha Mahayagna, people engage in prayers, worship, and sacrifices under the guidance of various religious gurus and Acharyas. Additionally, this Mahayagna acknowledges the importance of various aspects of Indian culture, such as Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, and Tantric scriptures. People not only gather for their spiritual and religious upliftment during this Mahayagna but also work towards social prosperity, social justice, and social unity through it.


From the 21st to the 25th of February, the magnificent establishment of Indian religion and culture, the 47th Ashwamedha Mahayagna, is being organized in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. In this Mahayagna, the people of the society will gather under the guidance of the leaders of the Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Parivar, Dr. Pranav Pandya, Shail Didi, and Dr. Chinmay Pandya.

Preparation and Significance of the Yajna

The initial phase of the construction work of the kund in the Yajna shala (sacred place for the ritual) has been completed along with the worship. This Yajna kund has been constructed by the learned Acharyas of Shantikunj. This magnificent Yajna has the support of devotees from various states including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and other countries. Thousands of members of the Gayatri Parivar in Mumbai are volunteering for the preparation of the Ashwamedha Yajna. This Yajna is being conducted for the upliftment of not just human beings but for the regeneration of the entire universe.


The Gayatri Parivar is actively involved in the grand arrangement of the Ashwamedha Yajna, which includes significant programs such as the auspicious procession of the sacred water vessel, the 1008 kund Gayatri Mahayajna, the grand ceremonial lighting of lamps, cultural events dedicated to the gods, a vast book exhibition, a series of enlightening lectures and knowledge sessions, an exhibition of posters depicting the creation of a new era, blood donation drives, addiction-free camps, and a campaign to plant one lakh trees. This event is becoming a source of inspiration for society to progress with prosperity and respect through unity and service.
